I am a wife, mother, and AuDHD-er in a neurodiverse family. In my home I am continually learning the healing power of play and connection; the importance of my own regulation and health; what it means to have unconditional acceptance, love, and compassion for myself and others; and, the importance of doing the work to address my own history to be the parent my kids need and deserve. These experiences fuel my passion for the work that I do in supporting other individuals, couples, and families.
As a Registered Social Worker. Registered Clinical Counsellor, and Certified Brainspotting Therapist, my therapeutic orientation is informed by the following:

I am committed to helping parents, educators, and service providers to:
-
Develop compassionate and evidence-informed caring practices;
-
Recognize and celebrate human diversity;
-
Embrace the mutual process of learning and healing that is inherent in the parent-child relationship;
-
Understand and work with differently-wired kids (i.e., autism, demand avoidance/PDA, ADHD, ODD, DMDD, anxiety, sensory processing differences, etc.) from a neurodiversity-affirmative framework; and,
-
Engage in activities and relationships that support emotion regulation and life-giving self-care to prevent and recover from compassion fatigue, burnout, trauma, caregiving, overfunctioning, codependency, and deteriorating mental health.
