Virtual Nervous System Support Group for Parents & Caregivers







Parenting and caregiving can be deeply meaningful, but also dysregulating at times. This is a gentle, supportive space for parents and caregivers to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and experience grounding in the presence of others.
This group is experiential and supportive, and is not a substitute for individual therapy, crisis care, or medical support.

Grounding and nervous system regulation

Co-regulation and shared presence

Restorative practices and gentle movement

Neurodiversity-affirming care
-
Building a sense of safety and connection
You are invited to create a comfortable, supportive space with:

Pillows, blankets, bolsters, or cushions
-
A yoga mat, kapok mat, couch, or soft surface
-
Water or tea
-
Comfortable clothing
-
Other optional items like an eye pillow, grounding object, journal, or scent

You are invited to participate in whatever way feels safest for you:

Sharing is always optional and talking will be kept to a minimum

Camera on or off is your choice
-
You may step away, pause, or modify any practice

You are encouraged to listen to your body throughout
To support a sense of safety and respect within the group:

What is shared in the group stays in the group (confidentiality)

Please attend from a private, uninterrupted space

Use headphones where possible
-
No recording of sessions
-
Speak from your own experience (no fixing or advice-giving)​

This group is designed for gentle nervous system support and is not a good fit if you are currently experiencing:

Acute trauma responses
-
Active suicidal thoughts
-
Significant dysregulation requiring immediate and personalized support
If you're unsure whether this group is a good fit, you're welcome to reach out and complete the intake form prior to registering. If needed, additional or alternative supports will be recommended.

While confidentiality is upheld by the facilitator, it cannot be guaranteed in a group setting. Confidentiality may be waived if:

There is risk of harm to yourself or others

There is suspected abuse or neglect

Records are required by law

You may be asked to confirm your location at the start of sessions

An emergency contact is required for participation
-
This group will be cancelled with fewer than two participants, without charge; determined three days before the group is scheduled for.
