Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (ISTP)
Aligning the Body, Mind, Soul, and Energy
Level 1 Trained and Currently Training in Level 2
What Is Integrative Somatic Therapy?
Integrative Somatic Therapy is a body-centered approach to healing that recognizes how our experiences—especially stress or trauma—can be held not just in the mind, but in the body. This approach gently helps you reconnect with your body’s sensations, allowing healing to happen in a more natural, holistic way.

A Whole-Person Approach
Rather than focusing only on thoughts or talking, integrative somatic therapy brings together the mind, body, and emotions. It combines practices such as mindfulness, breathwork, gentle movement, and body awareness to support your nervous system and help you feel more grounded and regulated.

How It Works
In sessions, you may be guided to notice physical sensations, breathing patterns, or areas of tension in your body. With support, you can begin to safely explore and release patterns your body has developed over time to protect you. This process can help reduce stress, increase self-awareness, and create space for new, more supportive ways of feeling and responding.

What Makes It Different
This approach integrates a range of healing practices—such as mindfulness, breathwork, body-based techniques, and even sound or gentle ritual elements—to support deeper processing and integration. The goal is not just to understand your experiences, but to feel and process them in a way that leads to lasting change.

A Gentle and Supportive Process
Integrative somatic therapy is collaborative and paced according to your comfort. You are never pushed beyond what feels safe. By building awareness and connection within your body, this work supports a greater sense of calm, resilience, and self-trust over time. If you’ve ever felt like your experiences are “stuck” in your body, this approach offers a compassionate path toward healing—helping you reconnect, release, and move forward.
